A group Village Headman has the respect of his community. The Group Village Headman at the Kabwozgo School in Malawi, Africa, was known for his anger and resentment toward God and his Word.He had no need for a Bible. The entire village knew of his God-hatred.
But one particular day, he sat in a Bible lesson from The Story of Jesus booklet—perhaps to intimidate those teaching God’s Word, perhaps because the spirit of God had guided him into that room. Afterward, he called a village leader into a secret meeting with him. At that meeting, the Group Village Headman confessed his faith in Jesus, thanked God, and invited Jesus into his life.
No doubt, this new life in Christ will be a powerful force in strengthening this community of believers. Who knows the impact his life will have!

God, remind us that we must pray for our leaders, even those who have no interest in your ways. We never know what you are up to or whom you will reach with the transformational power of Jesus.
