Discipleship

Life on Life

Helping children grow in their faith through a culturally relevant discipleship program that teaches children that God cares about every area of their lives.

The Life on Life discipleship curriculum helps children grow in the areas of spiritual formation, character development, and life skills as they learn to love and follow Jesus. Through engaging teaching that addresses real-life issues, children learn that God cares about every area of their lives, including the difficult ones. This resource equips ministry leaders to navigate sensitive topics and helps children to experience healing and hope.

The Life on Life curriculum was created in collaboration with ministry leaders in India who worked with vulnerable and at-risk children. These children faced unbelievable trauma and violence, and ministry leaders needed tools to disciple them, to address their pain, and to help them heal and grow in their faith. In response, Life on Life was born. Since that time, it has been translated into 7 languages and contextualized in partnership with global ministry partners to ensure the content fits the cultures where it is being used. More than 1 million children in 29 countries are now being discipled through this program.

Life on Life Digital

To equip ministry leaders to continue serving children during the COVID-19 pandemic, the David Caleb Cook Foundation launched Life on Life Digital, an online platform that provides children’s ministry leaders with digital discipleship materials, including worship music, downloadable resources, illustrations from The Action Bible, and parent engagement resources. Now media-rich Life on Life resources are available on mobile phones, tablets, and computers to help ministry leaders around the globe disciple the children in their communities, even when they can’t meet in person!

Help us make Life on Life Digital available to even more teachers to reach even more children!

Help Us Unlock Hope and Healing in the Lives of Children

It costs about $25 to equip a teacher with training and resources to use the Life on Life discipleship program, and each teacher ministers to an average of 25 children. Even a small gift can make a big difference!

A Lifeboat in a Sea of Lost Causes

God is working on the children’s identities, laying the biblical foundations so that they can become all He wants them to be. Having a discipleship program like this one helps me to be a better teacher and helps the students to learn more about what it means to follow Jesus for their whole lives.

Life on Life helps us to unlock the rusty locks so that children can blossom, so that they can become healthy, happy children again. Because of these lessons, they know, I am worthy, God loves me, I’m not an accident, I’m part of God’s plan.
